Splatters of Ink and crayons from China…

Traversing the urban landscape of modern China wasan amalgamated experience… a culture so vibrant and lively but also mundane and standardized at the same time. The traditional iconic sillhouutes of the red sloping roofs wrapped around the modern buildings, hustling food markets with street food vendors situated around the quitest financial districts, traditional temples located in the dense yet surgically restored city fabric. I present few sketches which tried to capture the essence of this dichotomy….
